Pacifique is the Founder and Lead Agronomist of Puroch, a Tamil Nadu-based circular-economy startup that turns banana peel waste into premium tree-free paper. With a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Agriculture from the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA), he brings over five years of experience in sustainable agriculture, project management, and community mobilization.

He currently serves as an agronomist with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Rwanda, where he supports crop production initiatives, conducts community mobilization, and contributes to innovative agricultural projects. His professional journey also includes roles as a better production technical assistant, assistant farm manager at Ihema, greenhouse manager at the Rwanda-Israel Horticulture Center of Excellence, and sales and marketing trainee at SOUK FARMS.

At Puroch, Mugisha channels this diverse expertise into building a circular economy that benefits farmers, protects the environment, and produces premium sustainable paper. He is passionate about conservation agriculture, community empowerment, and creating value from agricultural waste.
